Building elilo

Hello all,
I am new to elilo and looking for a bit of guidance.
I am attempting to work on booting an XServe with elilo.
I read that it is possible with Gentoo, but I am working to make Debian work.
I downloaded the elilo.efi for x86_64 and I can make it execute from refit.
Currently I am stuck at the 'uninitialized variable used in get_video_info()' bug.

I have read Stuart's post on the list about the patch which I successfully applied to the existing 3.8-1 tarball downloaded from the Debian lenny source package. I have compiled gnu-efi-3.0d, but I am still unable to build elilo. There does not seem to be anything in the docs or readme files about compiling. Can anyone point me in the right direction for this?

Jason,
Thank you for your post. Not sure why I didn't find that earlier.
A am able to compile now, but attempting to work out a bug.

On an x86_64 xserve I am working on the "LocateHandle GopProtocol failed" issue.
I am attempting to use Framebuffer to get around the fact that it does not appear to default to textmode as described.
Anyone know if its apple's efi or should I grab from the CVS repository and try from there?
